A Life Less Lived More Survived

Three days of sheer terror.Yet again the famed Mumbai Spirit put to test.Yet again we killed,we died,we prayed,we cried.Again we we started blaming and condemning.Isn't it over yet.
How long are we going to stand mute witness to all these? How long are we gonna allow a bunch of spineless jerks to hold us petrified? How long do count our days and thank our stars for one more day of life.
I know venting our anger & frustration like this is the only thing people like u and me can do & I'm ashamed of myself and my inability to do something.... anything to stop this. But the question is even if we had the opportunity would we have done any damn thing? Our deeply etched selfishness and fear for own dear lives would do little good in front of such a situation,,,other than helping us save our necks and run random in opposite direction. We will sit safe in our coccoons and give endless extempores about what should have been done and who should do it but never have the guts to get in there and change matters.....WHY?????????????Simple coz we fear everything, coz we are not one of the people out there risking their lives for us.Coz we can only salute the commandos,,,not join the force,,coz we can only blame the politicians(Never think I'm in favour of any damn party,,,,for me each is as worthless as the other),,,,but not get into that field and take responsibilities.Coz our pseudo patriotism will wake only for a day or two and then will die out.Coz we can only talk, talk, talk and talk some more
And finally when we've done with all the talking, all the blaming, all the rallies and SMSes we will get back to our routine life.Today we mourn the deaths of ATS Chief HEMANT KARKARE,encounter specialist VIJAY SALASKAR, NSG commando Maj.SANDEEP UNNIKRISHNAN and A.C.P. ASHOK KAMTE tommorrow how many of us will actually remember any one of them.Tommorrow like all the other horrors,,this will also be forgotten.
