Death: An Arrival

A gust of wind from a sun starved sky

The deep melancholic cry of a wounded canine

The heavy fog settles nowhere to escape

Amidst the silence somewhere a knell rings

The keeper of secrets they say has arrived

The man of the end, the man of time

With every step he stamps his spear

The accolades, the treasures, the titles thirst for want of another moment.

I've absolutely no idea what moved me to write about death but there it is,,,,not exactly a poem but something that can come near
